Helen Keller Festival Color Run is a 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run and Fundraiser that starts and ends in downtown Tuscumbia. Participants will be showered with color throughout the course. The fun run benefits the Helen Keller Festival and the Keller Kids program.

Meet us at our supply trailer in the parking lot to sign in and we will provide you with the tools to make an impact! Refreshments will be provided and make sure to wear sunscreen!

HKF Downtown Parade

Parade will start on Commons, go down Main Street, Turn on 6th and back up Water Street.
The parade will be held on Thursday at 6:00 PM in downtown Tuscumbia, Alabama. Your group must register online and be at check-in before 5:30 to be allowed to participate in the parade.

Morning Yoga with Melissa DeOrazio, Spring Park, Tuscumbia

Before the chaos of the day begins, come join Melissa in the park for morning yoga.
Melissa began practicing yoga in 2002 while living in Austin, going to a class on a friend’s suggestion. Being a singer, Melissa loved chanting mantras in the meditations and found the practice to be very transformative.
In 2006, she completed a teacher training program, more as a way to deepen her own practice. After moving to New Orleans with her husband Matthew in 2007, she began teaching at various studios, as well as leading workshops with a focus on kundalini yoga, breathwork, mantra and music.
Melissa has expanded her teacher training to include restorative yoga and has attended various workshops to continue learning and deepening her connection to spiritual practices.
She is currently teaching yoga in The Shoals at various locations.
